Skoda Octavia fourth-generation unveiled

koda Auto has unveiled the 2020 Octavia. The fourth-generation Skoda Octavia is bigger than its predecessor and comes with a host of changes, both on the outside and inside. Upon its expected launch in India next year, the new Octavia will rival Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla Altis.

Skoda Octavia was launched nearly six decades ago and more than 6.5 million units of the vehicle have been sold worldwide till now. The premium sedan is one of the largest selling cars of the Czech automobile company.

The cabin of the 2020 Skoda Octavia is packed with all the premium features. It has been equipped with a new multi-level dashboard and freshly-designed two-spoke steering wheel with knurled scroll wheels. As many as 14 different functions can be carried out using the steering wheel. There is a 10-inch free-standing central display below which one-touch keys for important vehicle functions such as driving mode select or park assist are located. The centre console is completely new and embellished with chrome elements. The front door trims are now partially perforated and the operating button for the electrically adjustable wing mirrors is now located on the armrest next to the buttons for the electric windows.
